A Cabinet for New Parenthood
Collins Place, Melbourne (2018)
In a vitrine adjacent to the subterranean Parents Rooms of Collins Place, A Cabinet for New Parenthood presented drawings and photographs reflecting how the culture of parenting in Australia is embedded in the design of the city. The exhibition used the study of baby change rooms as a starting point to speculate on their civic potential: How can design make parenthood less isolating?
In collaboration with Layla Cluer.
A Cabinet for New Parenthood was part of Melbourne Design Week, 2018 and was supported by the Melbourne School of Design at The University of Melbourne.
